Audit

The purpose of configuration audit is to ensure that the product meets the specified requirements. Configuration Audit is a periodic activity and must be planned. Functional Configuration Audits and Physical Configuration Audits are the two processes utilized in the process. They verify that the end item delivered was vetted against requirements stated approved document. The combined results of the two processes offer tangible evidence that a controlled design, fabrication, test, and documentation system exists; and the product not only performs as required but what has been manufactured and it can be repeated. The Audit application helps in performing such necessary process steps.
